3、verticalstacks.Thispaperpresentsasimulationbasedonafour-stacknetworkthatillustratesflowmechanismswithinthepipeworkfollowingbothappliancedischargegenerated,andsewerimposed,transients.Thissimulationidentifiestheroleoftheactiveairpressurecontroldevicesinmaintainingsystem
4、pressuresatlevelsthatdonotdepletetrapseals.Furthersimulationexerciseswouldbenecessarytoprovideproofofconcept,anditwouldbeadvantageoustoparallelthesewithlaboratory,andpossiblysite,trialsforvalidationpurposes.Despitethiscautiontheinitialresultsarehighlyencouragingandare
