4、kmanagementstrategyforfutureconstructionprjectandriskThestructuraldesignofthereinforcedconcreteelementswasdonebyconsultingengineersKnightPiesold(KP).QuantitysurveyingserviceswereprovidedbyHawkins,Leshnick&Bath(HLB).ThecontractwasawardedtoCentralAfricanBuildingCorporation(CABCO)whowasalsorespo

5、nsiblefortheprovisionofaspecialistroofstructureusingpatented“gangnail”rooftrusses.ThebuildingconstructionproceededtocompletionandwashandedovertotheownersonSept.12,1991.TheSAZtookeffectiveoccupationoftheheadquartersbuildingwithoutacertificateofoccupation.Also,thedefectsliabilityperiodwasonlyth
