4、lconsumer.Ontheotherhand,intradecredittransactionsthesuppliermaysupplythegoodsoncredittoanintermediarylikeawholesellerofthosegoods.Inatradecredittransactionitisprobablethatthecounterpartymightnotbeabletofulfillthecontractedobligations.Intheliteratureoffinance,ar

5、iskthatisassociatedwitheachpartyofthecontractthatthecounterpartywillnotbeabletoaccomplishitsobligationsisknownascounterpartyrisk.Thisstudyexaminestheeffectofcounterpartyriskontradecredituse.Thechangeintheriskinessofabuyercanleadtochangeinthebehaviorofasupplierto

6、wardstheuseoftradecredit.Similarly,thechangeintheriskinessofasuppliermaychangethepatternsoftradecredituseforthebuyer.Thestudyhasreviewedacomprehensiveliteratureavailableontradecredituse.Thestudyhasfocusedonthetheoriesoftradecreditandthepreviousresearchfromallove

7、rtheworld.Afterlookingatthedetailedliteratureavailableontradecreditthestudyhasfoundagapthatnostudyhasinvestigated,i-etheeffectofcounterpartyriskontradecredituse.Toanalyzetheeffectofcounterpartyriskontradecreditusethestudyhascollectedthedatafromthetextilesectorof
