3、ndhasreceivedmuchattentionineducationalcircles.Brain-basedteachingandlearningfocusesonhowthebrainlearnsbestandhowlanguageteacherscanlearntounderstandandusethisknowledgetohelpsecondlanguagestudentslearnEnglishquicklyandefficiently.Ineffect,wearetalkingaboutcreatingsecon
4、dlanguagecurriculathatarebrain-compatible.Iwouldlike,first,tofocusonsomeofthefactorsleadingtothissurgeofinterestinthehumanbrain.Foryears,theonlywayweacquiredinformationabouthowthebrainworkedwasfromautopsyexaminations.Althoughthesestudieshavebeenimportant,theyprovideonl
