4、mostpartofnetworkcanbeviewedasopticalonebecauseitissupportedbytheopticalfibercommunicationwhichisfastdevelopedwithincreasingdemandontheinformationofthepeople.Althoughthecapacityhavealreadyreachedasurprisingdegreeof100Tb/sforthesingle-corefiber,thereissti
5、llneedstomakebreakthroughinthelimitationfortheinformationtransmissioncapacityandtoovercomethebottleneckofdevicesforrapidlydistributingandcontrollinginformation.Infact,therevolutiongraduallyoccursduetoemployingthenovelmaterials,novelstructuresandnovelmech
6、anism.Ourworkjustfollowsthisdevelopmenttendency.Wetrytomakeourcontributioninexploringnewkindsoffibersandderivativedevicesbasedonsomeuniquematerials,becauseofdifferentresponseofchiralmaterialstooppositecircularlypolarizedlight,namelyleft-andright-handedci
7、rcularlypolarized(LCPandRCP)light,thefibercomposedofsuchmediashouldpossesnovelpropertiesinlinearandnonlinearaspects.Wetakethechiralfiberanditsderivativedevicesastheresearchtopicandhopeitwillbemeaningfultoexploretheuniquerolesofchiralityintailoringthetran
