6、relationshipinsociallevelusuallyreceivenegativeinfluence.Therefore,importantpracticalvalueandsignificancelieinthestudyofdiscoursemarkers.BasingonthetheoreticalframeworkoflanguageadaptationproposedbyVerschueren,thisthesisaimsatthepragmaticfunctionsofdiscoursemarkers.Firstly,it
