2、]Ananocrystalmodelforliquidmetalsandamorphousmetalshasbeendeveloped.Withthenanocrystalmodel,thebroadeningpeakpro¯les(BPPs)ofCu,Al,Al65Cu20Fe15alloy,Cu70Ni30alloyandFe50Si50alloyweregainedbybroadeningtheX-raydi®raction(XRD)peaksofacrystallattice.BycomparingtheBPPswiththeXRDintensitycurvesmeasure
3、dontheliquidmetals,itisfoundthattheBPPsarecloselyinagreementwiththeXRDintensitycurves,respectively,excepttheFe50Si50alloy.Therefore,thenanocrystalmodelcanbeusedtodetermineiftheatomicclusterstructureoftheliquidmetalissimilartothestructureofitscrystallattice.KEYWORDS:Liquidmetal;Atomiccluster;Str

5、al,e:g:thehardsphereandtherandomclosepack-meansthatthemetalsinamorphousstatehavesim-ingmodels[1{4].Atomicclustermodels,suchastheilarstructuretometalsinliquidstateandtheXRD°oatingatomicclustermodelandquasi-polycrystalintensitycurvesofthetwostatesarethesame.Themodel,werealsoconstructed[5].Fordesc
6、ribingtheonlydi®erencebetweenthetwostructuresisthatthemeltingprocess,itisassumedthatthemeltiscom-atomsarestatic"inamorphousstateandmovable"posedofatomicclusterwithahexagonalstructure[8].inliquidstate.ItwasconsideredthatthestructuresoftheatomicDuringthepreparationofamorphousalloysbyclusterposs
