4、indricalbubblecolumn,rununderhomogeneousbubbleflowandheterogeneousflowconditionsusingCFD(ComputationalFluidDynamics)simulation.Theinvestigationhasbeendonetostudytheflowpatternofthree-phasebubblecolumnalongwithparametricstudies.Thesimulationswereperformedforair-water-glas
5、sbeadsinabubblecolumnofH=0.6mheight,Di=0.1mandds=0.05mspargerdiametertostudytheflowpattern.Eulerian-Eulerianthree-phasesimulationswithk-turbulenceforliquidphasewerecarriedoutusingthecommercialflowsimulationsoftwareCFX-5.6,withafocusoncharacterizingthedynamicspropertieso
6、fgasliquidsolidflows.Themodelhasbeenvalidatedusingavailableexperimentaldataandisingoodagreement.Detailstudyoftheflowpatterninthree-phasebubblecolumnhasbeencarriedoutandflowpatternhasbeenpresentedintheformofcontourandvectorplots.Theresultspresentedareusefulforunderstandin
