4、twoparts:thedirecteffectsandtheindirecteffects.Furthermore,ashortanalysisisprovidedabouttheeconomicimpactofotheractivities,suchasin-houselogisticsandEuropeandistributioncentres.Anoverviewofsomedevelopmentspersub-sectorisprovidedfortheperiod2000-2005,withtheemphasison2005.Thecoreoftheanalysis,w

5、hichisstatisticalandthereforenotbasedonasurvey,looksmorespecificallyintodevelopmentsintermsofvalueadded,employment,investmentandthefinancialsituationofthecompaniesconcerned.Afirstestimateofdevelopmentsoverthe2005-2006periodisalsoprovidedforvalueaddedandemployment.AnnualaccountsdatafromtheCentr

6、alBalanceSheetOfficeareusedforthecalculation13ofdirecteffects,thestudyoffinancialratiosandanalysisofthesocialbalancesheet.Alsoworthmentioningisthattheindirecteffectsoftheactivitiesconcernedhavebeenestimatedintermsofvalueaddedandemployment,onthebasisofdatafromtheNAI(NationalAccountsInstitute).A
