2、dfatigue(CRF)isthemostcommonpsychosomaticdistressexperiencedbycancerpatientsbefore,duringandafterchemotherapy.ItsimpactonfunctionalstatusandHealthRelatedQualityofLifeisagreatconcernamongpatients,healthcareprofessionalsandresearchers.Theprimaryobjectiveofthissystematicre
3、viewistodeterminewhetherthedifferentchemotherapiesaffecttheassociationofCRFwithindividualpro-andanti-inflammatorycytokines.ThePRISMAstatementguidelinehasbeenfollowedtosystematicallysearchandscreenarticlefromPubMedandEmbase.RecentfindingsThisreviewhasexamined14studieswhi
4、chincludedatotalof1312patients.Thesestudiesassayed20differentkindsofcytokines.Thecytokinesinterleukin-6,interleukin-1RA,TGF-bandsTNF-R2wereassociatedwithCRFinpatientsreceivinganthracycline-basedchemotherapy.However,onlyinterleukin-13wasidentifiedinthetaxane-basedchemoth
5、erapy.Similarly,differentsetsofcytokineswerelinkedwithCRFinpatientswithchemotherapyregimenscontainingplatinum,cyclophosphamides,topotecanorbleomycin.SummaryThisreviewhasidentifiedthatcytokinesaredifferentiallylinkedwithCRFaccordingtothevarioustypesofchemotherapyregimens
