6、researchmethods.Thislackofassessmentandevaluationimpedesprogressindevelopingsuccessfulteachingpedagogy.Theteaching–learningissueaddressedhereincorporatesactivelearningteachingstrategieswithautonomousstudentlearning.Thestrategywasimplementedinresearchmethodscour

7、seswithinherentlycomplexmaterialnotconducivetopassiveteachingandlearningstrategies.Thisworkimplementedapre/post-testassessmentofundergraduatestudentsinaresearchmethodscoursewhoparticipatedinasemester-longtiered-assignmentresearchproject.Findingssuggestthatstude
