2、rsdiscusstheproblemoftransmissionallocationcontrolinmultiple-inputmultiple-output(MIMO)controlwiththeobjectiveofaveragepowerorbit-errorratewirelesssystemsoverMarkovianfadingchannels.Theproblem(BER)minimizationunderthelatencyconstraints.Amongisposedasaninfinitehorizonaverage-costconstrained
3、Markovotherresults,[5]and[6]addressthepowerandrateadapta-decisionprocess(CMDP)withthegoalofminimizingtheav-eragetransmissionpowersubjecttodelayconstraints.Byusingtionwithdelayconstraintandreal-timeincomingtrafficforaLagrangianformulationoftheCMDP,weusetheconceptsofsingle-usersingle-channel
4、systems,while[7]addressesthestochasticdominance,submodularity,andmultimodularitytoissueofrateadaptationfororthogonal-frequency-division-mul-provethattheoptimalrandomizedpoliciesaremonotone.Threetiplexing(OFDM)systemswithdelayconstraint.Asimilarimportantstructuralresultsonthenatureoftheopt
5、imalran-poweradaptationmodelunderadeadlineconstraintonthedomizedpoliciesarederived.First,weshowthattheactionspacepackettransmissionhasbeenaddressedin[8].In[9],structuralcanbeexponentiallyreducedbydecomposingtherateallocationproblemintobit-loadingproblemacrossindividualantennasandresultsar
6、eobtainedforapartiallyobservedMarkovdecisionthetotalrateallocationbasedonthecurrentbufferoccupancyprocessformulationofthetransmissioncontrolproblem.andchannelstate.Second,weshowthattheoptimalrateallo-Themodelof[5]isextendedin[10],anditisshown,undercationpolicyisarandomizedmixtureoftwopure
7、policiesthattheassumptionthatbothincomingtrafficandbufferoccupancyaremonotonicallyincreasinginthebufferoccupancy.Finally,weiscontinuous,thattheoptimalpowerversusdelayregionisshowthattheoptimalpowerallocationispiecewiselinearinthedelayconstraint.Thesethreestructuralre
