4、atabaseofexistingmusic.HebeganwithhundredsofworksbyBach.Thesoftwareanalyzedthedata:itbrokeitdownintosmallerpiecesandlookedforpatterns.Itthencombinedthepiecesintonewpatterns.Beforelong,theprogramcouldcomposeshortBach-likeworks.Theyweren'tgood,butitwasastart.Copeknewhehadmoreworkto
