3、Ethereisaneedtoprovidethedesignersanexpertsystemtoinvestigatetheirdesignintheearlystageofdesign.Inthispapertheconstructionofaproductdesignsimplificationsystemhasbeenexploredandaprototypesystemhasbeendeveloped.ThesystemcanbeusedtoevaluateproductdesignonthebasisofDe

4、signforAssembly(DFA)principles.Designsimplificationcanbeaccomplishedbythreeapproaches.ThefirstusesthethreecriteriaofBoothroydandDewhurst'sMethodology1,thesecondexaminesthefunctionalimplicationofpartsandthethirdconsidersifapartissecuredafterassembly.Thesystemwillgi
