3、picasallimportantaffectivefactor．Languageanxietyisakindofcomplicatedpsychologythatlearnershaveduringtheprocessofforeignlanguageleaming．Itreferstofearfuloruneasystateofmindlearnersexperiencewhentheyspeakinforeignlanguage．Onthebasisoftheparticularityofforeignlanguagel

4、earningenvironmentinChina，classisconsideredasthemainlearningplaceforstudents．Theclassinteractionandparticipationisanimportantwayofoutputtinglanguageandimprovinglearningefficiency．Throughtheliteraturereview,manyresearcheshavebeendoneonlanguageanxietyandclassparticipa

5、tion，butfewontheircorrelation．What’Smore，thesecorrelativeanalysesareconductedincollegeandmiddlesch001．Therefore，theauthortakespupilsassubjectstoinvestigatetherelationshipbetweenthesetwovariables．ThethesisadoptsquantitativeandqualitativeapproachesbyusingthemeansofFor

6、eignLanguageClassroomAnxietyScale(FLCAS)，QuestionnaireofClassParticipation(QOCP)andfacetofaceinterview．Thesubjectsinthispaperaremadeupof60pupilsfromNewOutlooktrainingsch001．ThecollecteddataareanalyzedbySPSS．Thefollowingaremainfindings：1)Languageanxietyexistsinprimar

7、yEnglishclass，butthedegreeofthestudents’anxietyisrelativelynothigh．Thedifferenceofforeignlanguageanxietyisnotobviousingendersandgrades．Basedontheanalysisofanxietysources，pupils’anxietyismainlyfromcommunicationapprehensionandfearofnegativeevaluation．2)StudentsinEngli
