6、es,peopleandorganizations,fromconceptdesigntothefactoryfloor,fromthelaborertotheuppermanagement,fromthecustomertothedeveloper.Progresshasbeenmadeinimplementingandraisingtheawarenessofleanpracticesatthefactoryfloor.However,thelevelofimplementationandedu
7、cationinotherareas,likeproductdevelopment,isverylow.TheLeanAerospaceInitiative(LAI)hasbeenproducingresearchinsupportofthemilitaryandindustrysince1993onthetopicofleananditsbenefits.Implementationoftheresearchhasbeenshowntohavesignificantimpactandinteres
