1、华中科技大学硕士学位论文对《对话》节目中的话语标记语的使用状况分析姓名：熊晓敏申请学位级别：硕士专业：外国语言学及应用语言学指导教师：樊葳葳20060412摘要话语标记语(discoursemarker)是指在口语中反复出现的修饰语,如oh,now,and,well,but,or,so,because,youknow,Imean等。从语法角度来看,这些修饰语本身没有多少语义,与句子也无多大关联,但是它能够起到引起注意,提起话题,发展话题,维持交谈等作用。从60年代末到70年代初，ZelligHarris,Halliday,Hymes等研究者开始了这个领域的研究。70年代中期,随着人们的
2、兴趣开始大量投入到口语中,话语标记语越来越多吸引了学者们的关注。越来越多的关注使学者对其进行了语言模式方面的研究。此研究主要通过对比在《对话》节目中的不同的人群，在此分为母语组和中国组，对话语标记语的使用状况，来观察分析不同人群对英语中的话语标记语的使用状况的用法以及其原因。并且，此研究还将此数据与其他语料库也进行了小规模的对比。研究结果表明，在两组中，大家使用最多的话语标记语均不相同。中国组分别为Ithink,youknow,Imean,well,so。而母语组则为youknow,well,Imean,Ithink,yousee。最后，研究还就个别的话语标记语，如：Ithink,yo
3、uknow,well,oh,Imean,okay,yeah进行了研究，结果表明了两组人在使用相同的话语标记上也存在差别，在此研究中将会详细分析。由于客观上的原因,此研究仍旧离数据化有一定距离,所有的数据均是人工完成的。所以，它不可避免的存在着误差和错误。语料包括48个对话片段,相对来说较小。所以,有些话语标记语从数据结果中观察不到。同时，研究设计的对比并没有考虑到其他参数,例如,年纪,性别,和社会背景,而这些因素对话语标记语的使用状况有一定的影响。由于语料本身是标准的访谈式文体,它不同于问候,叙事,和争辩等其他文体——这必将影响其话语标记语以及其功能的使用状况,这些有待在以后的研究中做
