3、esforthreeyears,andtheoperationoftheWuluwatiReservoirandthelanduseoftheHotanOasisinrecentyearschangesgreatly,whichmayaffectthewaterquantityoftheHotanRiverwhichinflowsintotheTarimRiver.Inthispaper,basedontherunoffdataoffivehydrologicalstationintheHotanRiverBasinandthedatabyRSin2004,2009,analy
4、zedtheimpactoftheWuluwatiReservoirandland-usechangestotheTarimRiver.TheresultsshowedthatthewaterquantityofthetwotributariesofHotanRiverhadtheindistinctin-creasingtrend,thewaterquantityoftheXiataHydrologicStationhadtheindistinctdecreasingtrend.TheoperationoftheWuluwatiReservoirchangedannualru
5、noffdistributionoftheKalakashiRiver,cutthepeakflowdowntoomuch,increasedthelossoftheriverchannelontheway,ledtocutdowntheoutflowofoasis,andaffectedthewaterquantityoftheHotanRiverflowingintotheTarimRiver.Partareasofunusedlandchangedtheareasofcultivatedland,theindistinctincreasingareasofcultivat
6、edlanddrawintomuchrunoffoftheHotanRiver,whichincreasedtheinter-annualvariabilityofthemainstreamandhadgreatimpactonthewaterquantityfromtheHotanRivertotheTarimRiver.Analysisoftheimpactsofrecenthumanactivi-tiesonrunoffoftheHotanRiverflowingintotheTarimRivercanbeusedtogivesomereasonablesugges-ti
