2、ationofdropletshouldbecontrolledinaccuracybecauseoftherequireofexperimentalconditionsanddropletdetectionisanurgentneed.Inthispaper,basedontheoverviewofexistingdropletdetectionmethods,dropletdetectionbasedonimageprocessingandtheprincipleofcapacitancearepropose
3、d.Thepurposeistodesignamicrofluidicsystemwhichisportable,convenientdetection,accuracycontrol.Theadvantageofdropletdetectionmethodisnoneedtoaddmarkers,highsensitivity,suitableforfieldtesting.Themicrofluidicsystemincludesdropletgenerationsystemanddigitalmicrosc
4、opesystem.DropletgenerationsystemismadeupofNitrogencylinder,micropumps,micro-chip,dropletcollectiondeviceandsomeotherdevicesifnecessary.Dropletgenerationsystemisusedfordropletgeneration.Thegenerateddropletsareusedfordropletdetectionexperiments.Digitalmicrosco
5、pesystemconsistsofmicroscope,CCD(ChargeCoupledDevice)cameraandmonitorofdigitalmicroscopesystem.Digitalmicroscopesystemisappliedtoobservethedropletdevelopment,acquiredropletimagesandprocessdropletimages.Inthispaper,dropletdimensiondetectionbasedonimageprocessi
6、ngisdescribed.DropletimagesareacquiredbyacommonCCDcamerabecausethemicrofluidicsystemisusedinfieldtest(Nonlaboratoryconditions).DropletimageshaveamotionblurbecausetheexposuretimeofcommonCCDcameraistoolongformotiondropletsinthemicrochip.Motiondeblurringisanindi
7、spensablepartfordropletdimension,shapeandvolumedetectionbyimageprocessingsinordertoimprovethedetectionprecision.Thefirststepofimageprocessingisthemotiondeblurringafterimagedenoising.Themotionblurisremovedbymotiondeblurring.Secondly,thedropletimageisdividedint
