1、重庆大学硕士学位论文II英文摘要ABSTRACTAsakeycomponentofacottonpicker,thespindleisresponsibleforpickingcotton,whoseperformancesdeterminethecostandefficiencyofpickingcotton.Thespindleanditsmatchedsleeveformasetoftribologicalpair.Owingtothedirectcontactbetweenthespindleandthecotton,thefailurephenomenasuchasfatigue,w
2、earandtearoftenoccurduringitspracticeoperation.ThecottonpickerusedinChina,however,ismainlyimportedfromAmerica,whosepriceisveryexpensive.Inordertosavethecost,itisessentialtoconductastudyaboutthetribologicalmodificationofthesleeveandspindletoachievelocalizationofthepickercotton.Thepresentresearchissup
3、portedbytheStateKeyLaboratoryofMechanicalTransmissionChongqingUniversity(No.0301002109174).AccordingtothecurrentdevelopmentofcottonpickerinChina,thetribologicalperformancesofspindleandsleevearestudiedbasedontheirsurfacetexturingandcoatingmaterial.Themaincontentsareasfollows:First,surfacetexturing,ah
4、otspotintribologicalresearchesatpresent,isappliedtothespindle.Tosimplifytheanalysis,Aplatemodelwereadoptedtostudytheeffectsofdimpleslocatedonthesurfacesontheirtribologicalperformances.Themaincontentinthisthesiscontainsthecomparisonbetweentribologicalperformanceswithandwithoutcavitationeffects.Furthe
5、r,ananalysiswasmadeabouttheinfluencesofgeometrysizesandarrangementsforthedimplesontheload-carryingcapacity,frictionalforce,frictioncoefficientandstressofthesurfaces.Thenumericalresultsshowthatwhenthecavitationmodelisused,thenegativefilmpressureandsurfacestresscausedbynegativefilmpressurearebothelimi
6、nated,whiletheamplitudesforthefilmpressureandsurfacestressbothincrease,ascomparedwiththosewithoutcaviationconsideration.Thechangesinthedimplesizewillresultinchangesinthetribologicalpropertiesofthesurfaces.Withthesynergicinteractionamongthedimples,theappropriatesizeanddistributionofthedimplecanimprov
7、ewellthetribologicalperformancesonthesurfaces.Then,afiniteelementmodelwithbothasleeveandlubricantfilmwasestablished,andfurtherinfluencesoftheelasticmodulus,Poisson'sratioandthicknessofthecoatingonthem
