4、nt,thenumberoftillersincreasedrapidlywithmoreunproductivetillers.ThegrainyieldsinNSCFtreatmentsincreasedsignificantlyby6.40%to9.53%(inShanyou63)and6.70%to9.52%(inXiushui63)com-paredtothecontrol,withnosignificantdifferencesingrainyieldsamongNSCFtreatments.Agronomicnitrogenuseefficien-cy(ANUE
5、,beingdifferenceingrainyieldsbetweennitrogenandnon-nitrogentreatedplotsdividedbyNapplied)andfertil-izernitrogenrecoveryefficiency(NUE,beingdifferenceinNuptakesbetweennitrogenandnon-nitrogentreatedplotsdividedbyNapplied)ineachNSCFtreatmentofShanyou63andXiushui63weresignificantlyhigherthantho
6、seofthecontrol.ItcouldbeconcludedthatrationalapplicationNSCFcontributedtoanearlyvigorousgrowthofrice,asufficientsupplyofnutri-entsduringthemiddle-lategrowthperiod,anincreaseingreenleafareaduringthegrainfillingperiod,acceleratingthetrans-locationofthephotosynthatestopaniclesandgrains,andfina
