2、ccultureleadstodifferentethnicpsychology.Thedifferenceinethnicpsychologyinevitablyshowsintheirlanguageexpressions,whichwillcausethegapincross-culturalcommunicationandobstacleintranslation.Soistourismtranslation.FromtheperspectiveofSkopostheorie,thisdissertationexploresintoc
3、reativetreasonintourismtranslation,aimingtobreakthelimitationinexistingresearch,improvepresenttourismtranslation,andprovidesomereferencefortourismtranslators.Originally,creativetreasonisanimportantconceptincomparativeliterature.Butwiththediversificationintranslationstudies,
4、wefoundthatcreativetreasonalsohasagreatpowertoillustratethepragmatictranslation,especiallytotourismtranslation.Skopostheorie,whichisdevelopedfromFunctionalistTranslationTheory,pointsoutthattranslatingisapurposefulactivitybasedonthetextofsourcelanguage,andthatthemaximumcrite
5、riafortranslatingduringitsprocessisdeterminedbyitspurpose.Withoutdoubt,thistheoryprovidesanewangleforcreativetreasonintourismtranslation.Duetovariousdifferencesbetweenthetwolanguagesinvolved,translatorsshouldmakesomelinguisticandculturaladjustmentscreativelywhentranslatethe
6、tourismtexts.Onlyinthiswaycanthetranslationpurposesandtextfunctionsbeachievedandtothelargestextentmakethetranslationbefaithfulonthewhole.Skopostheorie,comparedwiththetraditionaltranslationtheorybasedon“equivalence”orextremistfunctionalisttranslationtheory,hasapparentlyimpro
