2、ontheory,ecology,sociology,demography,andgenetics.Theapplicationsare,withoneexception,independentofoneanotherandeachcomeswithalistofmathematicalprerequisites.Thus,eachinstructorhastheflexibilitytochoosethoseapplicationsthataresuitableforhisorherstudentsandtoincorporateeachapplicationanywhereinth
3、ecourseafterthemathematicalprerequisiteshavebeensatisfied.ThiseditionofElementaryLinearAlgebra,likethosethathaveprecededit,givesanelementarytreatmentoflinearalgebrathatissuitableforstudentsintheirfreshmanorsophomoreyear.Theaimistopresentthefundamentalsoflinearalgebraintheclearestpossibleway;peda
