4、oildissipationofDDT.AbstractAgreenhousepotexperimentwasconductedtoinvestigatethecolonizationofalfalfarootsbythearbuscularmycorrhizal(AM)fungusGlomusetunicatumandapplicationofthenon-ionicsurfactantTritonX-100onDDTuptakebyalfalfaanddepletioninsoil.Mycorrhizalcolonizationledtoanincreaseinth
5、eaccumulationofDDTinrootsbutadecreaseinshoots.ThecombinationofAMinoculationandTritonX-100applicationenhancedDDTuptakebyboththerootsandshoots.ApplicationofTritonX-100gavemuchlowerresidualconcentrationsofDDTinthebulksoilthanintherhizospheresoilorinthebulksoilwithoutTritonX-100.AMcolonizati
