1、ONSFoundationONSChapterGrants2010ONSFoundationispleasedtooffer$1,000grantstoONSChaptersseekingfinancialsupportforaresearch,educationorleadershipprojects.Funding,throughtheONSFoundationendowmentisavailableforuptotenChapterstoreceive$1,000grants.AllONSChaptersareeligibletoapplyforfunding,regardlessof

2、previousfunding.OnlyoneapplicationperChaptermaybesubmitted.FundingthroughthisgrantapplicationisrestrictedtoONSChaptersforprojectsinoneofthreespecificareas(research,educationorleadership).TheFoundationrecognizesthatthe$1,000grantmayonlyrepresentaportionofalargerprojectbudgetandtheareaoftheprojectbud

3、getthisgrantisappliedtoisatthediscretionoftheChapter.TogiveyourChapteranideaofthetypesofprojectssupportedthroughthisgrantapplicationwehavelistedsomepreviouslyfundedprojectsbelow.Theseareonlyideas;eachChapterknowshowtheycouldbestusea$1,000grant.Creativity,originality,andinnovationofprojectsaretakeni

4、ntoconsiderationwhenscoringapplications.Pleasenote:supportforChapterdinnermeetingsorroutinecontinuingeducationprogramsarenotafundingapriority.ProcessChaptersinterestedinapplyingforaChaptergrantmustsubmitatwopageapplication(attached)byJune15,2010totheONSFoundation.AnONSFoundationBoardreviewteamwillr
