3、juvenilesofA.japonicuswerecarriedout.ThepurposeoftheseresearchesaretofindthepathogenSOthatwecanpreventandcurethedisease.Thediseasedspecimensincludinglavae,juvenileandadultsweremainlycollectedfromtheaffectedfarmsofA.japonicusinLaizhoucityofShandongprovince·Theepizootiologyonfieldshowedthatthediseas
4、eisverycontagiousandmaycausedeathofdiseasedanimalswithin3days.Theodginsignofthisulcerativediseasewasawhitespotthatappearedontheintegumentofdiseasedanimals,closetothecloacarapertureormouthorwound.Thespotextendsquicklyontothewholeintegumentinshorttimeandleadtothedeathofdiseasedanimals.Itwasseentllat
5、diseasedanimalsappearedseriousdestroyoftissue.Alargenumberofshortrod‘shapedbacteriawerefoundinsliceoftheseacucumberbytransmissionelectronmicroscopy.ItWasobservedthatthelesionsformedaseriesofZoIleSwherenleepidermiswerecompletelydestroyedunderlightmicroscopy.Thecolonyofbacteriumissmall,about2-4mmaft
