4、platform.Reflectivemiddlewareisabletoopenuptheplatformimplementationtomeetsuchrequirements.Therearethreelimitationsincurrentresearchandexperimentsonreflectivemiddleware:theyfocusonpartsorindividualentityofasystem,lackingaglobalview;theyonlyaddressthereflectionoftheunderlyingplatform,ignoringtheref
5、lectionoftheapplication;theymostlyexperimentonCORBAwithlessworkonJ2EE.Thedesignandimplementationofareflectivecomponentoperatingplatform,calledPKUAS,ispresented.Basedonitscomponentizedstructure,PKUASintroducessoftwarearchitectureastheglobalviewofthewholereflectivesystem.AsaJ2EE-compliantapplication
6、server,PKUAScanreflectboththeunderlyingplatformandEJBcomponents.Moreover,thispaperdemonstratestheusageofreflectionwiththePKUASmanagementtoolandevaluatesPKUASthroughcomparisonwithotherreflectivemiddlewares.Theworkpresentedinthispaperaddressestheaforementionedlimitationsandimprovestheapplicabilityof
