2、uralandindustrialwaterresourcesisessentialforeasingcurrentwatercrisis.However,suchaplanningeffortisalwaysassociatedwithmultipleuncertainfactors,e.g.resources,economy,environment,whichchallengethecapabilitiesoftraditionaldeterministicprogrammingmethods.Therefore,theaimofthis

3、studyiStoproposeadvancedinexactoptimizationapproachesbasedonchance-constrainedprogrammingtohandletheuncertaintiesforsupportingrationaldecisionmaking.Theimprovedapproacheswillthenbeintroducedintoagriculturalandindustrialwaterresourcesmanagementsystems.Firstly,basedonindeptha

4、nalysisofprominentuncertaintyingroundwaterlevel,amodifiedfuzzycredibility-constrainedprogrammingforagriculturalwaterresourcesmanagement(MFCCP-AWM)isdevelopedandthenappliedtoanirrigationzoneinUllamooringbasininXinjiangprovince。Secondly,accordingtowatershortageandconflictsofd

5、emandamongdifferentfirms,artintervalchance—constrainedprogrammingmodelforindustrialwaterresourcesmanagement(ICCP—IWM)isproposedforsupportingwaterallocationunderuncertainty.,nleresultsdemonstratethattheMFCCP-AWMmodelCandealwithuncertaintiesamonggroundwaterlevelsexpressedasfu

6、zzysets,andprovidemoreoptimalschemesfordecisionmakers.Inaddition,theICCP—IWMmodelCangenerateoptimalallocationschemesforindustrialmanagers,andhandleuncertaintiesofthequantitiesamongfreshwater,recyclewaterandwastewater;furthermore,itcallalsotacklethetradeoffbetweensystemcosta
