2、hand,thewateryieldCannotexcessivelydecreasedduetovegetationreforestation.Itisachallengehowtorecoveryandmanagetheforestvegetationandsafeguardregionalwaterproductionfunctionatthesametimeintheloessplateau.Restoretheforestbasedonthevegetationcarryingcapacity
3、ofregionalwaterresourcesisthekeyroadtosolvethisproblem.Inthisthesis,theconceptoftheregionalvegetationcarryingcapacityofwaterresourceswasdefinedandtheindicatorswrergiven.Acalculationsystemforvegetationcarryingcapacityofregionalwaterresourceswasdeveloped.T
4、henitwasemployedtoestimatethevegetationcarryingcapacityofregionalwaterresourcesofJingheupstream.Weaimedatprovidingtechnicalsupportandscientificguidanceforrationalallocationofwaterresourcesandwater-forestmanagementindryareas.Themainresultsareasfollows:1.I
5、mpactofforestvegetationrestorationonrunoffTheafforestationwouldresultinthedecreaseofannualrunoffanddryseasonrunoffintheupperreachesofJingheRiver.Themaximumannualrunoffreductionwas10.75InlTlandthemaximumdryseasonrunoffreductionwas4.27mmafter10%grasslandof
6、thewholeareawasconveredtoforestlandintherockymountainareas,meanwhilethemaximumannualrunoffreductionwas4.94mlnandthemaximumdryseasonrunoffreductionwas1.34mm.theincreasingofleafareaindexwouldcausemoreannualrunoffanddryseasonrunoffreduction.Butwhentheleafar
