5、anismscannotberepresentedbycurrentworkflowprocessdefinitionmetamodels.Aninnovativeextendedworkflowprocessdefinitionmetamodelisfirstproposedforintegratingtheabovetwoaspects.Basedonthat,modelingandcontrolofknowledgeflowsarestudied.Aknowledgeflowmodeling
6、approachisproposedbyusingfivekindsofknowledgeflowcomponentstorepresentknowledgedistributionandreuse,cooperationandcommunicationamongparticipants.Todealwithdynamicelementsinknowledgeflows,anadaptiveknowledgeflowcontrolapproachwithcorrespondingalgorithm
7、sisproposedbasedonresourceconstraints,changesofknowledgerequirements,andtimeconstraints.Thispaperpresentsabeneficialapproachfortheeffectiveintegrationofworkflowandknowledgemanagementtechnologies.Keywords:knowledgeflow;workflow;workflowmetaprocessmodel
