4、Parkestablishedin2002,whereavarietyofitinerarypatternsarerevealedthroughamap-basedquestionnaireofvisitorsusingNationalParkroads(n=749).Theimplicationsforplanningandpolicyinitiativesarediscussed.TablesandFiguresTable1:KeyCharacteristicsofLLTNP·ThePark’sboundaryincludesatotalof39milesofcoastlinea
5、roundthethreesealochs,LochLong,LochGoilandtheHolyLoch.·LochLomondisthelargestareaoffreshwaterinBritain,coveringanareaof71squarekilometers(27.45squaremiles).·TheParkcontainsthelargestconventionalhydroelectricpowerstationintheUKatLochSloy.·WaterfromtheNationalParkhasbeenusedtoprovidedrinkingwater
6、tothenearbyGlasgowconurbationsincethe1850s.·FarmingisthemajorlanduseintheParkwithregisteredagriculturallandaccountingforaround55%ofthearea.·Almostall(98%)ofthePark’sagriculturallandisclassifiedasanAgriculturallyLessFavouredArea.·ImportantremnantsofancientCaledonianpinewoodssurviveatGlenFallocha
