3、euse/misuse/abuseinterfereswithlearningandadverselyaffectstheeducationalprocess,theBoardofEducationiscommittedtothepreventionofuse/misuse/abuse.ThisdocumentinconjunctionwiththeDistrict’sProjectSAVECodeofConductprovidesthepolicyforacceptablebehaviorfora
4、llstudents.PHILOSOPHY:Responsibleleadershipisacriticalcomponentofanappropriateandeffectiveresponsetotheproblemofchemicaluse/misuse/abuse.Therefore,theDistrictisfurthercommittedtothedevelopmentandimplementationofpolicies,procedures,andprogramswhichcontr
5、ibutetothewell-beingofstudentsandstaffthroughacontinuumofcaringinvolvingprevention,intervention,aftercare,andstaffdevelopment.Thefollowingprinciplesshallserveasguidelinesfordevelopmentofprogramsanddisciplinaryproceduresrelatedtoalcohol,tobaccoandotherd
