1、ABSTRACTABSTRACTTheStandardModel(SM)providesanunifiedmathematicalframeworkforstrong,weak,andelectromagneticinteractions.Ithasobtainedenornlou$SUCCESSsinceitsbirth,asthecurrentpreciseexperimentaldatahavebeenshownanexcellentagreementwiththepredictionsoftheSM.Butitstillhasmanytheoreti
2、calproblems,such嬲thehierar-chyproblem,andthatthegravityhasnotbeeninvolvedintheframework.Therefore,peoplebelievethattheSMisnotafinaltheory,butonlyaneffectiveapproximationinlowenergyofamoreunderlyingtheory.InordertosolvethefundamentalproblemsintheSM,physicistsproposedmanynewtheoretic
3、almodelstoextendedtheSMindifferentways,suchastheMinimalSu-persymmetryStandardModel(MSSM),theLargeExtraDimensionModel(LED),theLittleHiggsModels(LH),andtheTwoHiggsDoubletModel(THDM).Amongthesenewmodels,theLargeExtraDimensionModelsolvesthehierarchyproblembyaddingnewextradimensionsbeyo
4、ndthe4space-timedimensions,whichisconsidered嬲alow-energyapproximationoftheStringtheory.BesidestheotherthreeinteractionsintheSM,thegravityisalsoinvolvedintheframeworkoftheLEDmodel.UnlikethecommonSMparticleswhichonlyexistin4dimensions,thegravitonsCanpropagateinallDdimensions.AndasArk
