2、hodstofabricatetheinorganicmaterialmagnesiteweremainlyexplored.Basedontheformerpapers,thehydrothermalsynthesisprocedurewasadoptedinthisthesis.Magnesiteofthesinglephasecompositionwhichcontainsnocrystallizatedwaterhasbeensynthesizedbyusingsodiumhydroxide-assi
3、stedhydrothermaltreatmentmethodswithmagnesiumchlorideasthesalt,and((NH4)2CO3﹣NH4HCO3)astheprecipitator.Theeffectsoftheamountofsodiumhydroxide,theinitialconcentrationofreactants,hydrothermaltemperatureandhydrothermaltimeonmagnesitepowderswerestudiedsystemica
4、llybySEMandXRD.Magnesitepowderswiththepeculiarmorphologyhavebeenpreparedbyusingdifferentchemicaladditives.Withsurface-modifyingagents,themodifiedmagnesitewasfilledintopolypropyleneasaflameretardant.Theinfluenceoftheadditionofmagnesiteontheflame-retardantand
5、mechanicalpropertieswerepreliminarystudied.Themaincontentsofthedissertationwereroughlyasfollows:1.Magnesitehasbeenpreparedbyhydrothermalmethods.Theinfluencesoftheamountofsodiumhydroxide,theconcentrationofreactants,hydrothermaltemperatureandhydrothermaltimeo
6、nmagnesiumcarbonatepowderswereinvestigatedscientifically.Thecharacteristicdiffractionpeaksarestrongandsharp,whichshowthegreatcrystallinityandthesinglephasecomposition.2.Theeffectoftheadditionofdifferentchemicaladditivesandtheiramountsonmorphologyofmagnesite
