3、ar.Thecarshavebecomefromasimplemechanicalproductstotheadvancedmechatronicproduct,aso-called"E-car".Automotiveelectronicsisbecomingmoreandmorepopular.AutomotiveECU(electroniccontrolunit)isincreasingrapidly,thefailureofanycomponentinthesystemarelikelytoleadtothefailure
4、oftheentiresystem.Becauseofthecomplexofthesystem,vehiclemaintenancebecomesverydifficult.Forthesefailures,artificialdiagnosishasbecomepowerless,inordertospeeduptherepairprocess,soweneedaspecialautomotivefaultdiagnosticscannerwhichcandetectthefaultsautomatically.During
5、thedevelopmentprocessofthecommondiagnosticscanner,wearefacingthehighdevelopmentcostsandtestdifficultyissues.Inthisthesis,inordertosolvetheproblemsencounteredinthedevelopmentprocessofcommondiagnosticscanner,IdidsomeresearchonthecommonlyuseddiagnosticprotocolssuchasKli
6、neprotocolandCANprotocol.DevelopedtheECUsimulatorthatcanbeusedbothforK-lineandCANlineECUs,whichgreatlyreducesdevelopmentandtestingprocessofthecommonautomobilefailurediagnosticR&Dcosts,improvedtheR&Defficiency.Firstly,reviewedthedevelopmentstatusofvehiclediagnostictec
7、hniquesandthendescribedtheproblemsencounteredinthedevelopmentprocessofthecommondiagnosticscanner.ThendescribedtheISO9141communicationsprotocolandISO11898communicationprotocol,andanalyzedthecompositionandcharacteristicsoftheCANbus.Basedoncommunicationprotocols,ECUsimu
