3、altissue,theMEA(microelectrodearrays)isthekeypartofthedeviceandthegatewayofalltheinformation.AccordingtothedifferentpartsofMEA-implantpositions,therearethreekindsofprosthesises,theyarevisualcortexprosthesis,opticnerveprosthesisandretinaprosthesis.Retinaprosthesiswithagoodtopologicalcorrespondenceb
4、etweenthestimulatingsiteandthevisualfield,doinglessharmtotissues,andkeepingmostfunctionsofthevisualpathisbecomingthemostpracticalandprospectiveoneofprosthesises.Toenhancetheartificialsightoftheblindwhoreceivesprosthesisimplant,resolutionisoneofthekeyfactorsofprosthesises.Therefore,itrequiresMEAade
5、nsityhighenoughofstimulatingsites.BasedonMEMStechnologywedesignedandfabricatedtwokindsofMEAswithdifferentdensitiesofstimulatingsites.Theywerebothmadeofphotosensitivepolyimide(PI)asthebaseandplatinumasthematerialofconductingmetallayer.Titaniumlayerwasplacedbetweenthebaseandtheconductingmetallayerto
