4、0/jos160708Abstract:Analgorithmbasedondisparitypointstosolvetheocclusionproblemintheprocessofbuildinghigh-qualitystereodisparitymapispresentedinthispaper.Itisfirstlyprovedthatthedisparitycurvecorrespondingtoapairofepipolar-lineimagesmaybeapproximatedbyagroupofpiece-wisestraightline
5、s,andthenthedefinitionofdisparitypointisintroduced.Intheparameterizationofadisparitypoint,twoparametersareusedtodescribeleftandrightocclusionssothattheocclusionproblemcanbesuccessfullysolvedintheapproach.Byanalyzingintensitypropertyofadisparitypointanditsneighborpoints,anapproachwh
6、ichcombinesstepwisehypothesis-verificationstrategyandMarquardt-Levenberg(M-L)algorithmisdevisedtoextractthecandidatedisparitypointsfromtheepipolarimages,andthenaperiodicdynamicprogrammingisemployedtosearchtheepipolar-optimaldisparityfunction.Theproposedmethodistestedbyusingtheinter
