5、sionsobtainedfromIMarethesameasthoseobtainedusingothermethods・Inclusivecompositeintervalmapping(ICIM)isausefuls怕pforwardthathighlightstheimportaneeofmodelselectionandintervaltestinginQTLlinkagemapping・Inthisstudy,weinvestigatethestatisticalpropertiesof
6、ICIMcomparedwithIMthroughsimulation.ResultsindicatethatIMislessresponsivetomarkerdensityandpopulationsize(PS).TheincreaseinmarkerdensityhelpsICIMidentifyindepen-dentQTLsexplaining45%ofphenotypicvariance・WhenPSis4200,ICIMachievesunbiasedestimationsofQT
7、Lpositionandeftect.ForsmallerPS,thereisatendencyfortheQTLtobelocatedtowardthecenterofthechromosome,withitseffectoverestimated・TheuseofdensemarkersmakeslinkedQTLisolatedbyemptymarkerintervalsandthusimprovesmappingefficiency.However,onlylarge-sizedpopula
