2、mustgetatleast190.5creditsfortheirgraduationfromthisprogram.Prospectivestudentsenrolledinthisprogramarenormallyexpectedtospend4academicyearsincompletingtheirundergraduatestudyattheSchoolofMechanicalEngineering,JiangsuUniversity.Alternatively,theycanalsocompletethisprogramwit
3、hin3-8academicyears.ThebachelordegreeinEngineeringwillbeconferredtothestudentswhosuccessfullycompletethisprogram.ObjectivesCombinedwiththecommonknowledgeeducation,professionaleducation,engineeringscienceeducationandindustrialpracticetraining,themainobjectivesofthismultidisci
4、plinaryundergraduateprogram(mainlycoveringthefieldsofmechanics,mechanicalscience,materials,electronics,electromechanicalcontroltechnology,detectiontechnique,computer-aidedengineering)aimtodevelop/improvethestudents’abilityandsupport/benefittheirfuturecareerdevelopment(e.g.,s
5、eniorengineersandtechnicians,outstandingresearchersandscholars,etc.)duetothesolidandinterdisciplinaryengineeringbackground,thecreativeinspirationandability,aswellasthestrongabilityforactualengineeringapplicationsthroughstudyingattheSchoolofMechanicalEngineering,JiangsuUniver
6、sity.RequirementsTheknowledgebackgroundofthisprogrammainlyconsistsofmechanicalmanufacturingandautomation,mechanicaldesignandautomation.Exceptthegeneralrequirements(e.g.,respectandobeytherelevantrules/regulationsfromChinesegovernmentandJiangsuUniversity,respectthefacultyandCh
7、inesetraditions/customs,beingoodhealthcondition,etc.),thestudentsarerequiredtohavetheknowledgebackgroundinnatural,human,artandsocialsciencesespeciallyfamiliarwiththecomputer-aidedprogramming/designandproficientinbothoralandwrittenEnglish,andtheyarealsorequiredtoknowthebasicf
