2、hemacro-propertiesofblendmaterialsthroughtuningthemiscibilityandphaseseparationprocessofthecomponents.Amongdifferentkindsofpolymerblends,thereisakindofblendthatismiscibleinthemeltstatewhilephase—separatedinthesolidstateduetotheoccurrenceofcrystallizationofonecomponent.Thecrystallizationandphasesep

3、arationofmisciblepolymerblendsduringthesolidificationprocesscanbeinfluencedbymanyfactors,includingcomposition,interactionsbetweenthecomponentsandmolecularweightsofeachcomponent.Recentl5ithasbeenproventhataddingnanoparticlesintosuchblendsalsoinfluencesthephaseseparationand/orcrystallizationprocesse

4、s.Theeffectsofnanoparticlesoncrystallizationandphaseseparationarecloselyrelatedtotheshape,dimension,typesoffunctionalgroupsonthesurfaceandotherpropertiesofthenanopariticles.Carbonnanotubes(CNTs)aretypicalone—dimensionalnanofillerswhichhaveattractedmuchattentionofresearchers.Becauseofthelargeaspect

5、ratioandsurfacearea,aswellasthesimilarchainconformationcharacteristictothatofpolymer,CNTsexhibitstrongaffinitytomanykindsofpolymers.ItCanbeexpectedthatCNTshaveainfluenceonthecrystallizationandphaseseparationwhenintroducedintotheabovementionedmiscibleblend.ItismeaningfultoinvestigatetheeffectsofCNT

6、sinsuchkindofmiscibleblendfrombothaperspectiveofacademicresearchandindustrialproduction.ThepresentthesisisfocusedoninvestigatingtheinfluencingmechanismofCNTsonpoly(vinylidenefluoride)(PVDF)/poly(methylmethacrylate)(PMMA)miscibleblend.CarboxylfunctinanlizedCNTswereintroducedintoPVDF/PMMAmiscibleble
