1、摘要现代物流作为一种提高效益的有效途径，己成为国民经济的支柱产业和新的经济增长点，同时也是企业的第三利润源泉。发展现代物流是增强一个国家、地区及企业竞争力的重要途径。无锡作为全国十五个经济中心城市之一以及长三角都市圈的经济核心城市，已将发展现代物流纳入无锡“十一五”发展计划纲要。目前，无锡市物流业刚进入起步的阶段，对无锡市的经济建设和社会全面协调发展的重要支撑作用将日益彰显。但是，由于产业规划、产业结构、政策措施等原因，无锡市物流业发展速度缓慢。因此，利用现代物流理论，借鉴发达国家和地区的先进经验与措施，并结合无锡市的实际情况提出有效的策略建议，对加

2、快无锡市物流业发展的速度、提高无锡市产品和服务的竞争力以及促进无锡市经济社会健康协调发展有着重要的现实意义。本文主要运用现代物流理论，通过对无锡物流系统建模，找出影响无锡物流发展的主要因素，对无锡物流系统现状进行了分析，剖析了无锡物流发展中存在的问题。同时还从微观角度，利用MATLAB就物流系统中物流运输和库存数量问题提出可行的仿真优化设计方案。借鉴国内外发展现代物流的先进经验，定性提出了无锡市物流业的发展策略，主要有：加强政府宏观调控和引导、积极推进第三方物流业的发展、积极发展龙头物流和品牌物流企业、加快物流信息化进程、加强物流专业人才的培育和引进
