4、atedsludge.TheamountofphosphorousabsorptioninEPSwas2.6,2.9,2.8,2.0and1.4timesthantheirownbacteriaphosphorousabsorptionamount.Theresultsaboveshowedthat,theamountofphosphorusEPSabsorbedwasmuchlargerthanthatofbacteria.Obviously,EPSwasactedasanimportantstoreroomofphosphorusinthebiolo
5、gicalfloes.④TheroleofEPSinbio-phosphorousremovalwasstudied,takingtwoSBRreactorsinanaerobic-aerobicrunningasobjects.Moreover,theconceptualmodelofEPSremovingphosphorouswasdeduced.TheresultsshowedthatthephosphorousinanaerobicconditionwasalmostcompletelyreleasedbyEPS,andthephosphorou
6、sinaerobicconditionwasmostlyabsorbedbyEPS,forthetwoSBRreactorswiththeratioofCODandTPininfluentbeing50:1and100:1respectively.Inthesecourseofbiologicalphosphorusremoval,theamountofremovalbyEPSwasaccountedfor60%-70%,theamountofremovalbybacterialcellwasaccountedfor30%~40%.Intheconcep
