4、hSTOVLsupersonicattack/fighteraircraftinthelatemid-90's.Thistechnologywilleffectivelyintegrate,enhance,andextendthesupersoniccruise,STOVL,andfighter/attackprogramstoenableU.S.industrytodeveloparevolutionarysupersonicshorttakeoffandverticallandingfighter/a

5、ttackaircraftinthepost-ATFperiod.AjointNASALewisandNASAAmesresearchprogram,withtheobjectiveofdevelopingandvalidatingtechnologyforintegrated-flightpropulsioncontroldesignmethodologiesforshorttakeoffandverticallanding(STOVL)aircraft,hasbeenplannedandisunder

6、way.Thisprogram,theNASASupersonicSTOVLIntegratedFlight-PropulsionControlsProgram,isamajorelementoftheoverallNASA-LewisSupersonicSTOVLPropulsionTechnologyProgram.Itusesanintegratedapproachtodevelopanintegratedprogramtoachieveinte-gratedflight-propulsioncon

7、troltechnology.Essentialelementsoftheintegratedcontrolsresearchprogramarerealtimesimulationsoftheintegratedaircraftandpropulsionsystemswhichwillbeusedinintegratedcontrolconceptdevelopmentandevaluations.Thispaperdescribespertinentpartsoftheresearchprograml
