2、产品检验的相关定义（Definitions）381.1禽类产品检验的相关定义（Definitions） §Definitions. (a)Forthepurposesoftheregulationsinthispart,unlessotherwiserequiredbythecontext,thesingularformshallalsoimportthepluralandthemasculineformshallalsoimportthefeminine,andviceversa. (b)Forthepurposeso
3、fsuchregulations,unlessotherwiserequiredbythecontext,thefollowingtermsshallbeconstrued,respectively,tomean: Acceptable.“Acceptable”meanssuitableforthepurposeintendedandacceptabletotheAdministrator. Act.“Act”meansthePoultryProductsInspectionAct(71Stat.441,asamendedby
4、theWholesomePoultryProductsAct,82Stat.791;21451etseq.). Adulterated.“Adulterated”appliestoanypoultryproductunderoneormoreofthefollowingcircumstances: (i)Ifitbearsorcontainsanypoisonousordeleterioussubstancewhichmayrenderitinjurioustohealth;butincasethesubstanceisnot
5、anaddedsubstance,sucharticleshallnotbeconsideredadulteratedunderthisclauseifthequantityofsuchsubstanceinoronsucharticledoesnotordinarilyrenderitinjurioustohealth; (ii)(a)Ifitbearsorcontains(byreasonofadministrationofanysubstancetothelivepoultryorotherwise)anyaddedpoi
6、sonousoraddeddeleterioussubstance(otherthanonewhichisapesticidechemicalinoronarawagriculturalcommodity;afoodadditive;oracoloradditive)whichmay,inthejudgmentoftheAdministrator,makesucharticleunfitforhumanfood; (b)Ifitis,inwholeorpart,arawagriculturalcommodityandsuchco
7、mmoditybearsorcontainsapesticidechemicalwhichisunsafewithinthemeaningofsection408oftheFederalFood,Drug,andCosmeticAct; (c)Ifitbearsorcontainsanyfoodadditivewhichisunsafewithinthemeaningofsection409oftheFederalFood,Drug,andCosmeticAct; (d)Ifitbearsorcontainsanycolora
