5、ayedasignificantroleinITforseveraldecades.SincethefirstsymbioticERPproductSAPcreatedin1972,ERPmarketrevenuesareexpectedtobeashighas$52billionbytheyear2002.WhilethereiswideacceptanceofERPindevelopedcountriessuchastheUSA,Canada,theUK,andAustralia,develop
6、ingcountrieslagfarbehind.Atpresent,NorthAmericaoccupies66percentoftheERPmarket,Europetakes22percent,whilethewholeofAsiaisonlyat9percent.However,duetoeconomicgrowth,developingcountriesinAsiaandLatinAmericaarebecomingmajortargetsofbigERPvendors.ERPindeve
