5、ic,hybridandnaturalgas-drivenvehicles.Judgingfromcurrentlyapplicabletechnologies,andthecurrentlyinstalledinfrastructureofgasolinestations,inspectionandservicefacilities,thehybridvehicle,drivenbythecombinationofgasolineengineandelectricmotor,isconsideredtobeoneofth
6、emostrealisticsolutions.Generallyspeaking,hybridsystemsareclassifiedasseriesorparallelsystems.AtToyota,wehavedevelopedtheToyotaHybridSystem(hereinafterreferredtoastheTHS)bycombiningtheadvantagesofbothsystems.InthissensetheTHScouldbeclassifiedasaparallel-seriestype
7、ofsystem.SincetheTHSconstantlyoptimizesengineoperation,emissionsarecleanerandbetterfueleconomycanbeachieved.Duringbraking,Kineticenergyisrecoveredbythemotor,therebyreducingfuelconsumptionandsubsequentCO2emissions.Emissionsandfueleconomyaregreatlyimprovedbyusingthe
