4、一、虚拟条件句虚拟条件句所表示的假设是不可能或不大可能发生或实现的,句中的条件从句与结果主句皆须用虚拟语气。其主句和从句的动词形式具体如下表:假设情况从句中的动词形式主句中的动词形式与现在事实相反动词过去式(be一般用were)would(could/should/might)+动词原形与过去事实相反haddonewould(could/should/might)+havedone与将来事实相反动词过去式(be一般用were)would(could/should/might)+动词原形shoulddoweretodo例如:I
5、fyouwereinmyposition,whatwouldyoudo?(与现在事实相反)IfIhadbeenyouthen,Iwouldn’thavequarreledwithhim.(与过去事实相反)IfIsaw/shouldsee/weretoseehimtomorrow,Iwouldbeveryhappy.(与将来事实相反)二、错综时间条件句有时,条件从句的动作和主句的动作发生的时间不一致。例如:一个是过去发生的,一个是现在发生的。这时主从句中的动词形式要根据所表示的时间作相应的调整。例如:1.Ifhehadfoll
6、owedthedoctor’sadvicethen,hewouldbequiteallrightnow.2.Tomwouldbealivetodayifthedoctorhadcomesoonerlastnight.三、(省if)倒装条件句如果条件句中有were,had(助动词)或should时,可使用倒装结构,但if必须省略。若条件从句为否定句,否定词not应置于主语之后,而不能与were,should,had等缩略成weren’t,shouldn’t,hadn’t置于句首。例如:1.HadIseenhimthen,Iwo
