3、有一定的词义，为谓语动词增添情态色彩，表示说话人对有关行为或事物的态度和看法，认为其可能、应该或必要等。我们学习过的can 和may 都属于这类词。情态动词无人称和数的变化，情态动词后面接的动词需要原形，否定式是在情态动词后面加not,当我们想表达可能发生某事以及可能做某事时，可以用may/might 表示。例如：It’scloudytoo,soitmightsnow.也是阴天，所以有可能会下雪。Bringamapbecauseyoumaywanttotravelaround.带张地图，因为你可能想四处走走。Theremaybeafewshowers,sobringanumbrellawi
