5、ons.wesufferfromthelongestandoneoftheworstsustainedinflationsinournationalhistory.itdistortsoureconomicdecisions,penalizesthrift,andcrushesthestrugglingyoungandthefixed-incomeelderlyalike.itthreatenstoshatterthelivesofmillionsofourpeople.idleindustrieshavecastworkersintounemp
6、loyment,humanmiseryandpersonalindignity.thosewhodoworkaredeniedafairreturnfortheirlaborbyataxsystemwhichpenalizessuccessfulachievementandkeepsusfrommaintainingfullproductivity.butgreatasourtaxburdenis,ithasnotkeptpacewithpublicspending.fordecadeswehavepileddeficitupondeficit,
