1、摘要金融中介和金融市场是金融体系重要组成部分，两者借助金融工具共同完成促进储蓄向投资转化的任务，根据这一标准，各国金融体系大致可以划分为两类：金融中介主导型金融体系和金融市场主导型金融体系。不同国家往往有着不同的金融体系，甚至同一个国家的金融体系在不同时期也在不断发展和变化。同时近年来，金融创新推动了金融工具的创新，金融中介和金融市场甚至监管部门以及立法机构都在进行不断改革和调整，在这些条件下，金融体系似乎呈现出了一种趋同状态。这种金融体系演进的内因以及逻辑是什么，是本文主要分析的对象。本文从主要发达国家金融体系的演进入手，回顾了这些国家金融体系的形成和发展以及演变的趋势，指出金

2、融体系的演进规律大致遵循从金融中介主导型到市场主导型，并开始相互融合。本文认为，经济发展对金融提出了功能上的要求，从而金融体系不断扩展和提升某种功能来满足这种需求，来促进经济进一步发展，金融体系功能的演进是金融体系演进的原因。金融体系的功能都是类似的，但由于经济发展、文化差异和制度环境等因素的不同，从而导致实现功能的方式不同，而这些功能表现形式上的差异导致了金融体系的差异性。金融中介推动了金融工具的发展，提供风险管理扩大融资规模的功能，但是金融工具在防范风险的同时又带来新的风险问题，金融制度为了管理和约束风险又得以进一步发展，这是金融体系演进的一个逻辑。金融中介和金融市场不是竞争
